Finding Out Which Raids to Do

For the WoW noob, which I consider myself to be, finding out which raids that you will perform well in can be difficult. Luckily, my guild recommended me to WoW Heroes which allows noobs like myself and maybe even more seasoned players a quick idea of which raids are right for them. Having this information is important as noobs like me might wonder why their hunter isn't getting any groups for Nax25 and if I don't ever play this Aurelja on the Cho'Gall server again, you can look up that character and quickly see why I never got a group. I was fail.

Oh, I'm not pulling your chain now, either. I still fail at WoW, but with the help of WoW Heroes at least I can fail IN a raid. See Aely from Bleeding Hollow which is now my main to see the difference!

Nerd Alert!

Okay, I've been avoiding making a post like this for a while, but truth be told: I am a mega nerd. I play WoW and I am (trying) learning programming. If that's not nerdy enough, I sometimes read Slashdot and xkcd (and even understand some of the jokes!)

This post isn't about programming or xkcd, it's about World of Warcraft... Yeah, I can't help it. Okay, so I mega suck at the game, but I'm starting to have fun. I have a Human Warlock named Aely in the tier 9 set. I don't have the shoulders because the shoulders I have are better, so I didn't seek to obtain the t9 shoulders. I have recently joined a small raiding guild (Exiled Battalion) and I'm having a lot of fun with them. I have never really raided before, but I now that I've done it, I'm mega addicted to it. That's a picture of us after killing the Twin Val'Kyr in Trial of the Crusader (ToC.) I admit I am shy as I nearly refuse to speak on ventrillo, but it's fun. I am hoping to maybe open up more. So yeah, I've been wanting to get that out, but have been avoiding it since admitting I'm a nerd is a big ummm stigma?
